The Society was created by students,
lecturers and alumni of the The aim of the Society is animating
and presenting all kinds of creative activity in workshops, literary
meetings, theatre performances and issuing books. The Society’s functioning
is based on the support of private donors, institutions and free work of its
members. All the funds acquired, also from selling books and tickets, are in
total used for realizing the Society’s goals as its statute states them. Our activity has been widely appreciated
and prized (among others by the Polish Association of Books Publishers), for
single publications as well as for the series of young authors’ debuts,
previously absent in the Polish literary life. The Society has set an example
for numerous other initiatives, however, until now it is the only long-time
non-commercial artistic initiative of this kind (the Society does not run
business activity). The Society is also known from its
initiatives for popularizing and promoting creative activity, especially
among students, by initiating and leading workshops, poetic presentations and
co-organizing artistic events and competitions. In our activity we do not
limit ourselves to the The
