Chamber Choir "Ars Cantata" is an amateur choir founded in 1986 at the Warsaw Club of Catholic Intelligentsia (KIK). We are an autonomous section of the Club. Like every section we follow the rules (Polish only) which put our activities in more formalized frames.

Mainly young people are members of the choir: students, graduates of many Warsaw universities, but also people without academic background. The name of our choir explains that we are keen on people interested in The Art of Singing. We help them to develop their passion.

The choir is involved in music activities in Warsaw. We are a member of the Mazovian Branch of Polish Union of Choirs and Orchestras (PZChiO).

We are glad to sing both church and secular music. In our portfolio one can find pieces of Polish and European Renaissance, Baroque, music of Polish an American contemporary composers, as well as few folk-based pieces. We perform also gospel music and choir versions of pop music.

Very often members of the choir get together to venture various expeditions. Every year we meet on 9-days' camp during vacation and two weekend camps in Srodborow near Otwock. We work there but also have a lot of fun together.
